Feeling blue?  Manam is here to save your day with their Filipino version of comfort food.


This is one of my favorite Filipino restaurants.  Five words to describe: Great taste and great service.

Here are what we ordered.  Take note that all prices indicated are for small orders only.

BRAISED THEN FRIED CHICKEN & PORK ADOBO WITH FLAKES: PHP 165.00

CRISPY PANCIT PALABOK: PHP 200.00

A very crispy twist in classic Filipino favorite.  Even when the sauce is poured in the noodles, it still has a crispy texture. Just look at how big those noodles are.

SEAFOOD BOUNTY KARE-KARE: PHP 375.00

For those who are afraid or don't want to eat oxtail, Manam created another version of Kare-Kare, a seafood one.  Honestly, I don't like oxtail and I am very happy that I now have the option to order a seafood one.  This dish has crab, prawns, tanigue, squid, and mussels.  A good catch for any seafood lover.     

BUTTERFLIED PLA PLA WITH BURO AND MUSTASA: PHP 255.00

Best way to describe this dish: Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.  Don't you just love fried fish that are crispy but not burnt?  Best eaten while hot.

UBE + SAGO: PHP 110.00

You can't go to a Filipino restaurant without trying an ube or purple yam dessert.  Technically this isn't really a dessert but more of a drink.  For ube lovers out there, you will definitely love this drink combined with sago or white pearl.  Most especially on a hot summer day.


Overall, I would love to come back to Manam to try out their other dishes.  And maybe order another Seafood Bounty Kare-Kare again.
