Can you hike to Namsan? Yes, you can because that is what we did (only until the Namsan Cable Car Station)! Since it was a little bit late, we decided to go to Alive Museum and N Seoul Tower which both are located at Namsan. From Myeongdong Station Exit 3, walk about 10-15 minutes following the street on the right side of the Pacific Hotel. Be warned, it is a very steep walk and if you are not physically fit then I suggest you take another route instead. If you are a fit person then you would enjoy the hike as the weather is just right. I can't believe that I actually managed to hike from the hostel to the Cable Car Station. I am not a fit person so I had to pause along the way. By the time I reached the Cable Car Station, I was very tired.

We got off the cable car and walk the way up to N Seoul Tower. Just as we were walking up, we saw a small eatery on the left side where they sell Bingsu. I know right, we were eating Bingsu when it was very cold. We just had to try everything while we were there.
Outside the tower is where the ticket counter is located. We used the discount coupon we found in the KTO mobile app which is a package for the observatory and Alive Museum. We did not even print it out. We just showed it at the ticket counter. The first ticket that they gave us was wrong. They only gave us the observatory ticket so we had to go back to the counter to ask for the correct ticket.
We went to the observatory first and we rode an elevator which has all the special effects and very fast. I didn't get a picture because we were busy being amazed. No pictures from the observatory either since it really was dark and we could only see the city lights. But it has a very wonderful and breathtaking view.
