Located at Makati business district, The PigPen is perfect for having meetings or simply having to get together with your friends.

This is actually my first time hearing The PigPen.  We went to PigPen to have our team dinner.  Since we are a big group (around 20 persons), we usually call the restaurant and do a pre-order to avoid any delays in the service and to also inform the restaurant so they can prepare.

Thanks to Zomato (not promoting 😏), we can now view the menu on their website so everyone's order has been taken care of.

Upon our arrival, I was surprised to see that it is only a small place but has a cozy bar, restaurant, and cafe type feel.  We arrived at around 6pm and their lights dimmed to give it a cozy ambiance.

I am so impressed by how attentive their staff is.  The first thing they did was to get our names so that they would know who to give the food to the correct person.  Saves time from having to point the direction of who is who.

Not only that, but we also noticed that they are attentive as to when to refill our drinks.  Some of us ordered bottomless iced tea and some service water.  I love to drink water when I eat that I usually ask the staff to refill about 4 or 5 times.  But here, I only asked once and I didn't even notice that I don't have water anymore because they keep on refilling.  The same goes for iced tea.  My manager even said that they are like a ninja because they just appear out of nowhere to refill and you will not even notice them (hyahhh!!!).

For appetizers (sharing), we ordered Crispy Calamari and Papadum Nachos.  I am in love with their Nachos, it just has the right amount of spices and crisp. 



For the main dish, I ordered their PigPen Burger (juicy!) and Truffle Fries. Funny thing is, I didn't realize that the burger already has fries included.  So now I have 2 fries 😂 hahaha.  Warning: the truffle fries is for sharing. hehehe... I thought that the size of the Truffle Fries is the regular one but was surprised that it was a platter.  Stuffing myself in fries that night. 



Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and very satisfying food.  I feel so stuffed afterward.  Luckily for me, we needed to walk a couple of blocks back to the office.  Need to burn those calories.
