Travel | The Ultimate Guide For 5 Days 5 Nights In Japan

By huayyu - 12/29/2017

We booked our flight to Japan months ahead of our departure date. This will be our first time in Japan and I have no idea where to start planning.  We are going to Osaka to be exact.  Unlike in Korea, it all seems easy because I am somewhat familiar with where certain places are located. Thanks to Sygic Travel, I was able to create this 5 days 5 nights itinerary.

I had a hard time creating this Japan Itinerary as I am not familiar with how close or far each place that I want to visit.  I used Sygic Travel (website) for this itinerary.  I will be reviewing the Sygic Travel in my new post so be sure to watch out for that.

Presenting... (drum roll please),  here are my 5 Days 5 Nights Japan Itinerary (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Nagoya).

0020H - Departure from Manila
0535H - Arrival in Nagoya

1500H - Check-in Airbnb
1800H - Hankyu Department Store Osaka
2000H - Floating Garden Observatory

0800H - Fushimi Inari
1100H - Nishiki Market
1300H - Bamboo Grove

0700H - Universal Studios Japan

070H - Todaiji Temple

1300H - Matsuzakaya Department Store
1600H - Depart for airport
2015H - Depart from Nagoya
2340H - Arrival in Manila

Those that are in the red are those places that we didn't get to visit.  As mentioned in my previous itinerary post, the itinerary is just a guide on where you want to go but you don't have to follow it especially if you have no time and are very tired.

There are a lot of places to visit in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara that one week is not enough.  I had to really trim down the places that we want to visit to make it more realistic.

I also love to hear your itineraries for Japan especially in Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto.
