Food Spot | Yoree BGC

I really am a Korean food lover at heart.  Here is another Korean dining that is a must-try for those who love Korean food like me.

Most of the Korean restaurants here in the Philippines usually offer unlimited barbecues.  In Yoree, they offer a variety of Korean dishes, from barbecues to "tteokbokki".  They seem to have it all.

For this lunch, we used the Eatigo app and got a 40% discount.  You can view my review for the Eatigo app here.

For starters, they offer free "juk" or Korean porridge which is very delicious.  Tastes different from the usual lugaw (our own version of porridge).

For the appetizer, we ordered Gyeranjjim or steamed egg.  Actually, we made a mistake in ordering this because this dish is already included in one of the dishes that we ordered.  Nevertheless, it is fluffy and melts in your mouth.

They also served different types of "Banchan" or side dishes.  I so love their anchovies.  You could have these refilled.

We ordered, "Haemul Sundubu Jjigae" or Tofu Soup and "Ttukbaegi Bulgogi" or Bulgogi Stew.  These dishes are great paired with plain steamed rice because of their rich taste.

Since there are dishes that are served with plain rice, we opted to order one Jeonju Dolsot Bibimbab or rice bowl mixed with different ingredients.

We were supposed to order a barbecue set but upon checking with the staff, it is not included in the discount with Eatigo.  Make sure to check first the restrictions of the discount.  Since it is not included, we ordered two dishes which are "Samgyupsal" and "Jumulleok".  The grill was broken so they barbecued it for us.

And last but not least, the main course of the main course! "Cheesy Dak Kanjeong" or Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken with Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese! This dish includes some side dishes like the "Gyeran Jjim", steamed corn, Kimchi, beef.

Even though there are a lot of people, the staff were still able to accommodate and entertain our requests.
