I have always loved Hennan Resorts since we stayed in one of their hotels in Boracay. They have good packages that they offer. For this vacation, we availed of their Indulge Package which includes 3 days 2 nights accommodation, complimentary breakfast and dinner and round-trip transfers via Tagbilaran Airport. If you would like to book here, I would suggest you book in advance as they are almost fully booked every day.

We arrived at the airport and the staff greeted and guided us to their serviced van. Their staff is friendly as we were even offered water when we boarded the van.
Since our flight was delayed, we arrived at the resort around 5pm. We drove for about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no traffic (yehey!) and the travel between the airport and the resort was smooth.
You might think that you might get lost inside as the resort is somewhat big but don't worry, they give out maps and instructions like where is the breakfast area and what time does the pool opens and closes. Since the place is big, they offer rides using golf carts to take you to their breakfast or dining area and to the pool also.
The room that we booked was a Premier Room for three persons which have a balcony and it is overlooking the swimming pool and has access near to the pool as well. The only downside is that we hear the music below since it has a bar area. I had to call the front desk staff that we can hear the noise in the room. In fairness to them, they are very quick as we heard the sounds minimize.
The beds are one double bed and one single bed which is perfect for three persons. The wi-fi signal and the mobile signal in the room are intermittent but for me, it is okay as the aim of this trip is to relax and clear our minds from any stress from our everyday lives. So I have banned social media to myself for 4 days! Their television is also good as we can watch movies with the USB that we brought.
For the bathroom, it is spacious and their bathtub has its own showerhead and besides that, there is a rain shower. You don't have to go into the tub to take a shower. This is wonderful especially to those who have elderly companions with them.
The only downside is that they are not flexible and their policies are not practical. No late checkouts for this hotel so if you have a late flight, plan ahead on what you will do after 12nn. We ask for a late check out at around 1pm. Just 1 hour grace period as our flight is still in the afternoon. The first we asked, they said that they could not guarantee at the moment which I get it as it should always be during the day you are leaving. I just asked them to take note of it and the next day we asked about it again. The staff said that they couldn't grant the late check out of 1pm since they are fully booked. I asked if they could reconsider it since most of the guests will arrive late in the afternoon. She then consulted with her manager and we were granted a 12:30pm late check out. I could just not get why they can't grant the 1pm late check out. The only difference is 30 minutes plus their Housekeeping would not be even cleaning it immediately once we vacate the room. No, they were firm that the latest that they could give us was 12:30pm. Since we were two rooms, they only granted one room the late checkout. We ask if we could vacate the other room but check out both rooms together since we don't want to go up and down again. But no they told us that we have to check out the other room first. So now we have to go down and come back up again. Not sure if they are just trying to make it hard for us because their rules have no sense at all. It is not like the 30 minutes is a long time. We were not even asking for 3pm. Just at 1pm.
Plus don't lose or leave your keys. You won't get a spare key. The Front Desk Staff would ask to verify your name and ask you to fill up a form requesting entry in the room which is actually great because they are concerned about our safety. The only thing is that we have to give the form to the Housekeeping Staff wait for them in the front of the room. We noticed that we left the key in our room after we had our swim. Would you imagine that you are soaking wet and you have to wait for the housekeeping staff to open your door instead of just giving you the key so that you could open the door yourself instead of wasting time? At first, we were a bit confused when we got to the room as we don't know if we should be looking for the staff or just wait there. Luckily we saw a Security Officer who offered to call the Housekeeping Staff. I don't know if we would freeze just standing there at the front door if the security didn't notice us.
I am not blaming the staff, I just think that their policies are not practical.
