The first time I went to Gapyeong, my friend and I didn't get a chance to go to the Garden of Morning Calm because we only have enough time to go to Nami Island and Petite France.
This is one of the best hotels that we discovered when we planned to visit South Korea. The first time we went here was about 4 or 5 years ago and at that time the place looked old but the location is very good and the staff is very friendly. I am happy to hear that it has been renovated.
The next stop of our trip was the bridge at Hangang River. We had a change of plan. Our initial plan was to ride the E-Land River Cruise but since we
ran out of time (cannot make it in the schedule for the departure of the
cruise), we decided to ride a taxi and go to the riverside instead.
I am not sure if I am being biased but this is really by far the best Galguksoo (knife-cut noodles) and Mandoo (dumplings) that I have tasted. This restaurant is famous for its very large handmade dumplings and knife-cut noodles. It is just across the street from where the museum is located. You should exit the palace at the museum side and cross the street.
South Korea has a rich culture and I am inviting you to experience that culture by exploring the palace grounds of Changdeokgung Palace and Gyeongbokgung Palace. IMPORTANT: Take note that Changdeokgung Palace is closed on Mondays and Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays.
After Petite France, our next stop was Nami Island. But before we went to Nami Island (since you need to ride the ferry going to the island), we stopped by the Ktopland Bungee Jumping. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it since I was busy filming my friend jumping off. She's the only one who went ahead and jumps since I'm afraid of heights. We had to wait a bit as they are assisting those who want to jump by batches.
